Ninos in Rhos has been around for as long as I can remember and a visit there was always a treat as a child. Nino himself doesn't seem to have changed that much over the years, a friendly man with a smile and 'hello' for everyone.
Food and drink is always good quality - I can especially recommend their pizzas - yummy! Can get very busy at times in the Summer but that just shows what a good cafe it is. -

Nino's used to be a really good, well run coffee shop and diner. You could always rely on it for a decent, well priced meal. Those days, it seems, are over.
Set on the picturesque Rhos-on-Sea promenade, Nino's has been a fixture for God knows how long. Always packed on sunny summer's days, it has been very popular with locals and visitors alike. I can vividly remember enjoying a cappuccino in Nino's when a was little more than five years old. It's part of the scenery. The decor has not changed in twenty years, but this gives it some sort of retro charm, for me at least.
Unfortunately, standards have fallen spectacularly. I recently returned home and went for a meal at Nino's with family. It was appalling. Really bad. So bad that I felt it necessary to post a review. So bad that I really begrudged paying for it.
Not only was the place dirty - flies (both living and dead) all over the place, the food was also terrible. The menu clearly stated that the Pizza was made from 'home made dough', and for £10.99, I expected it to be. What I received was a heated up budget frozen pizza with a few olives thrown on top. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this was a store-bought frozen pizza. For eleven pounds. Disgraceful.
Others in my party had fish and chips, which is better value, but their reports weren't good. Frozen fish, canned mushy peas, the usual story.
It's a real shame because I always held Nino's in high regard and have recommended it to others many times. Personally, I'll never be back. I have never paid so much for something of such poor quality. A definite contender for the 'worst restaurant experience' I have ever had. A real shame indeed. -

Very Highly recommended. My family has used Nino's for years, I can remember Nino's dad serving icecream when I was a little girl and used to visit Colwyn Bay, I have lived here now 30+ years and can quite honestly say its the best coffee for miles, good reliable service, love meeting friends for coffee at Nino's And Nino himself always gives a warm welcome. (And yes the Pizza's are yummy!)

Ninos is a lovely little cafe on the seafront which serves good food and drink. I meet there regularly for coffee and sandwich and my son is always made very welcome and is catered for well.
The also sell a wide range of ice creams all the year round. -

Great place, lovingly run. You can't go wrong with this one.
